Trip to Australia & New Zealand: Day 2-3: September 1-2, 2008: Sydney

Day 2: planes and airports, that's all there is. First London to Hong Kong, then to Sydney. The good part of this were the Cathay Pacific Airbus A330 planes with their personal multimedia systems! Good movies and good TV series. I was able to see Iro Man, for instance.
Finally, we arrived to Sydney. By the way, here's a weird scene at Sydney airport: two girls got out of the plane by mistake; they were supposed to get out only at Auckland, New Zealand! How weird is that?
We arrived very early in the morning. So early we couldn't go to the hotel room yet. So we left our luggage at the hotel reception and went to a walk to check the surroundings. Of course we were completely exausted but, well, the excitement kept us awake... hardly.
Anyway we got time to walk around and see almost all the Sydney's centre, including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Tower and Darling Harbour.
By the way, did you know that Paul Hogan, the actor from Crocodile Dundee, one of the movies that put Australia in the Hollywood menu, held a job painting this bridge, which in turn is always been painted because of its size.
Here are some of the photos:
